Drive Me Wild Scotland started with the same complaint every visitor eventually makes: the good roads are hard to find on your own, and the big coaches can't reach the good roads anyway. So we built a company around small vehicles and people who already knew the way.

Every tour runs with a maximum of 16 seats in small-group format, or fully privately if you'd rather it be just your party. Our driver-guides are Scottish, licensed, and trained to narrate a route rather than recite one — the commentary changes depending on the weather, the season and who's in the vehicle.
We keep our range at around 55 fixed itineraries because that's roughly what it takes to cover the country properly — the Highlands, the Islands, the whisky regions and the bits of the Lowlands most visitors never get shown — without padding the list with tours nobody would actually choose.

Every driver-guide is Scottish, licensed, DBS-checked and trained specifically on the route they run — not a generalist reading from a script.
Small, always
16 seats is our hard ceiling for small-group tours. If a route can't be enjoyed properly at that size, we don't offer it as a coach tour at all.

Departures from Edinburgh, Glasgow & Inverness
Most day tours depart Edinburgh, with selected routes also running from Glasgow and Inverness. Multi-day and private tours can start and end wherever suits your itinerary, including direct from the airport.
